The Th\u00e9\u00e2tre des Aspres, located in the town centre opposite the Caves Byrrh, opened its doors in April 2013.
\nWith a comfortable 500-seat auditorium and state-of-the-art stage equipment, it hosts more than twenty professional shows each cultural season, almost half of which are devoted to works for young audiences. It is also available to the cultural associations of Thuirin, which can thus give their end-of-year shows in very good technical conditions.<\/p>\n
The theatre’s programme includes numerous sessions for children from the schools of Thuir and Aspres, and the Ligue de l’Enseignement 66 programmes school sessions at departmental level.
\nThe Th\u00e9\u00e2tre des Aspres is also rented out for conferences.
\nThanks to a cultural policy that makes it possible to offer shows of high artistic quality at prices that are accessible to the greatest number of people, the Th\u00e9\u00e2tre des Aspres has established itself in its area and has managed to win over an ever-growing audience. It has a 91% occupancy rate, with 60% of the audience living in Thuir or the Aspres.
