The first exchanges of balls took place in 1968. A few years later, in 1975, the club officially joined the tennis family by becoming affiliated to the French Tennis Federation. At the end of the 70s, the club moved next door to the municipal swimming pool. From then on, the club became more structured and more democratic, with the creation of a tennis school open to all. Under the guidance of passionate leaders, the club set up the Tournoi de la Ville de Thuir. Today, the club is ranked among the top clubs in the department, both in terms of sporting performance and the number of members. This is proof of the club's dynamism.
