Le Tennis de Table Thuirinois was founded on 27 February 1975. The club is characterised by its enthusiasm and the vitality of its youth, and organises several tournaments, including the famous "l'homopongitus", which has taken the club up to the regional level. Thuir has also hosted the Departmental Committee, and in 1992, the club's directors set up the Ecole du Sport (Sports School), with the training of a number of volunteers who, day after day, help to pass on their passion for table tennis.
