A circular route through cork oaks and strawberry trees. At 600 m, La Calcine is the highest point on this walk and offers superb views of the sea and the Roussillon plain. Evidence of the first inhabitants can be traced back to the Neolithic period, when they built a megalithic monument known as El Roc del Ram. The village of Oms was first documented in 899 and is one of the oldest in Roussillon. The village is the birthplace of one of the oldest families in Roussillon.
