Lucie Jahier, the talented flautist and composer, is a musical explorer, bringing together a pianist with classical and jazz training, Laëtitia Bonnin, a bassist with a passion for salsa, Gonzalo Alfaro Ugaz, and a drummer who loves jazz, Fabien Dechaumon. Javotte pushes back the boundaries of styles to embrace the world through a blend of genres, jazz, choro, improvised music, rock, forro and baroque music. The result is an explosive quartet that experiments with blending classical and contemporary music to give us a diverse and lively sound. The result is open, generous jazz.
