Greek and Sephardic songs, a dialogue between cultures.
Anaïs Berenguer, vocals, koutalia, daf, Romain de Gourko, guitar and vocals, Jérémie Schacre, guitar, the three musicians of Melism revisit traditional Sephardic and Greek music. Songs from Spain and Greece intermingle and respond to each other, building bridges between two cultures. Manouche-style improvisations mingle with the languour of a Greek dance. Poetic texts in French mirror the improvisations and the singing. An intimate, nostalgic concert.
