Monastir del Camp is a famous monastery in Roussillon, near the town of Passa.
It is a set of buildings that ensured the daily life of the monks who lived there, the monastery having gradually expanded over time.
The church has a single nave and is covered with a barrel vault. The door was only opened at the end of the Romanesque period.
The capitals belong to two different groups: three of them represent ordinary monsters, while the fourth represents the invention of the Holy Cross by Saint Helena.
The exterior band of the archivolt juxtaposes marble slabs with various patterns, without trying to establish continuity in the decor.
