Montauriol

The village, which now has 205 inhabitants, is composed of two hamlets: the village and the Hostalets.
The village was built around the church of pre-Romanesque origin dating from the 10th century (it existed in 1074), dedicated to Saint Saturnin.
A walk in its narrow streets is recommended.
Continuing the road you will reach the hamlet of Hostalet and at the bend of a path you will discover the Chapel of St Amanç de la Ribera (St Amans de la Rivière). Isolated chapel located west of the Hostalets. A very popular resting place for the inhabitants.
Altitude: 200 meters
19 km southwest of Perpignan
